heyy everyone

Day two of SBSL is over! I swam the 100 fly, 100 back, and 200 IM and did ok I guess.  I’m going for the high-point award for my 17-18 age group…so I’m nervous! Besides tearing up the pool, I got myself perhaps the worst goggletan and cap-tan ever.  THere is a line of white running across the very top of my forehead where it meets the hairline and continues around my head and the tips of my ears, leaving them very very white. ALSO I have the worst goggletan in the world.  Just call me raccoon, goggleman, etc. Looks like imma hafta reschedule my senior portrait! haha OH and my back is all sunburned. Just in case you guys were wondering.

One more day of SBSL tomorrow and then we swimmers get a break! Home stretch, baby! 

What to say, what to say.

A window cleaner cleaned my house today! Yes, he was Mexican. His name was Abel Zoniga. Haha He was a swell guy and cleaned the windows pretty darn good. For his efforts, I asked my mom to buy him lunch for free (I’m so nice, right?) We couldn’t decide what to get him and finally my mom was like “I got it! He’s Mexican right? Let’s get him Taco Bell!” Hahaha and so off we went and bought him the $5 Big Box Meal with the Bacon Club Chalupa.  I got one for myself too. It was delicious. And then Abel was all happy and cleaned the spider webs on the ceiling for free afterwards. 

Then I went to a swim meet called South Bay Swim League Champs (SBSL) and did pretty good today! I swam the 200 free event (8 laps of freestyle) and lost to this random 24-year old that just caught me at the last moment and beat me by 0.1 seconds. Pretty bummed but watevs. Can’t win em all rite? haha and I saw some people that I haven’t seen in a while and really liked seeing them again. I have two more days left of this SBSL meet. WISH ME LUCK!

Harro everybody!

THis is my first post EVER and I feel…good =] 

I got to hang out with Melanie, Kevin, and Nick yesterday! It was super chill and refreshing to see Melanie and Nick since I haven’t seen them since the end of school.  We ate Chipotle (as usual) and then along came Melanie…always late as usual. But it’s ok. How can I hate a Canadian? The lighting and setting of Nick’s room is perfect for making babies by the way (for all the ladies out there).  The night ended with photobooth pics and exchanging secrets and bonding.  AND I learned how to play the Toy Story theme song which made me feel really accomplished. Thank you for opening my eyes to piano music other than classical.  All in all, a good night!
